A Training and Retreat to Remember: Mitrais Teams Gear Up for Future Growth

The Mitrais Team’s recent Training and Retreat Program in Bali was a resounding success as it boosted the cohesiveness and focus of the attendees. The participants from Mitrais Headquarters focused on leadership and communication for virtual teams.

The retreat was held in more relaxing surroundings: the Padma Resort in Ubud. The participants joined discussions and activities that manifested positive thinking for team cohesion and company growth.

Talent Acquisition and Development Senior Manager Abubakar Siddiq was impressed with the better-than-expected group dynamics of the team in both events and said such fruitful sessions were worth doing again.

Team Training and the SCARF Model

Mitrais has always valued creativity and innovation. Even in a pandemic, the team’s resolve to grow and encourage creativity has only strengthened. This year’s training and retreat were firsts for executives and management to come together and strategize for future growth.

One of the program’s highlights was the team learning about the status, certainty, autonomy, relatedness, and fairness (SCARF) Model. They learned to assess their teammate’s social motivations and how they could use this model to drive engagement and motivation in virtual teams.

The attendees then pledged to do what they can to satisfy the drive of their teams and boost productivity and creativity.

A Retreat for Better Growth Strategy

The retreat was a first for Mitrais’ management team. Though we had held many training sessions before, this was a special event that used open discussion and group activities purposely designed to improve the management team’s strength and cohesion as a unit.

CEO Wiwie Harris, Executives Gusti Putu Kompiang, She Kun, and Andriansyah Bachtar joined other senior managers, and together, they explored new strategies for Mitrais. They discussed how they could help other teams and develop new ways for the company to grow in the future.

The retreat also encouraged attendees to reflect on what Mitrais has achieved as a company and what more we can do to succeed. It further emphasized that we value our people and want to face the future with creativity and innovation.

Looking Forward to 2023 and Beyond

The Mitrais executives and management team believe that the success and the positive response of the training and retreat program was much-needed preparation for the company’s future. This includes developing strategies to handle virtual teams and creating new approaches for expansion and growth.

We are preparing for next year’s training and retreat, so we can assess how far we have come and how our teams have implemented what they’ve learned. We can’t wait for 2023!
