Mitrais Yogyakarta’s Mini-Soccer Club: Scoring Fun and Health on the Pitch

Thinking of starting an active lifestyle while maintaining your work game? Why not give mini-soccer a try? Imagine gathering with your colleagues, but instead of discussing work, you run across the green pitch, strategically passing and snatching a leather ball from the rival team. All fatigue melts away as you breathe the fresh outdoor air and gasp in victory when shattering the rival’s net – prompting your teammates’ celebration dance in their purple and white jerseys.

Indeed, life is a bowl of cherries when you prioritize fun to balance work. If you love sports, you can immerse yourself in all the blasts above by joining Mitrais Yogyakarta’s mini-soccer club. This article takes you on a tour of what the club can offer.

Promoting a Culture of Health and Well-being

Mitrais is a hub for diverse social clubs because it understands that a well-balanced life is key to top-notch performance. One popular club that thrives in the company is the mini-soccer club of Mitrais Yogyakarta office where the squad gathers fortnightly to crash in match madness. During regular sessions, the members engage in physical exercise that enhances fitness and helps them unwind and rejuvenate, escaping the daily grind.

Fadli Pratama Putra, a Software Tester who has been a member since 2023, revealed, ” I’m always excited for each match because it lets me channel my passion for soccer. With mini-soccer, we can enjoy all the benefits of the sport without exhaustion. As a software engineer who spends long hours in front of monitors, mini soccer is a win-win solution for my physical and mental health.” Mini-soccer is more than just an attack and defense game. Fadli admits that having some footy fun with other colleagues is like hitting a refresh button, leaving him clear-headed and renewed, improving his productivity.

Fostering Community Engagement

The fun in the field doesn’t just end within Mitrais’ circle. The club members enjoy frequent friendly matches with other vibrant local communities in the city of classical Javanese fine art. Fadli shared, “We chase the ball in the field twice a month with the internal Mitrais team. Plus, once a month, we flex our kicks and snatches in Trofie matches involving two other teams from different IT companies.” Energetic, friendly matches allow them to meet and exchange ideas between professionals — a perfect networking opportunity.

Everyone is Welcome to Join

Are you convinced to take up the sport but too afraid to show up as a rookie? Don’t worry; what sets the club apart from others is its inclusive environment — participants of all skill levels are welcome.

Too busy to add it to your routine? We got your back! It would be a breeze because by organizing sparring sessions twice a month, Mitrais ensures that employees can balance their work responsibilities with their participation in the club. Fadli explained, “We often play on Saturday morning for internal practice, while for sparring with other teams, we crush in weekday evening.”
