As the sunset cast its golden rays and the call to prayer blissfully echoed across the skyline, sheer gratitude tranquilly blanketed the hearts of Mitrais staff. The clickety-clack of keyboards and busy meetings shifted to a gathering of serenity. Cooling drinks, fresh, plump dates, and piles of delicious dish assortments that reflected Indonesia’s rich cuisines awaited to be devoured after a long day of devotion. Twinkling smiles and laughter crackled among colleagues as they indulged in the feast and exchanged stories to reconnect, tending a renewed camaraderie. It was a glimpse of the year’s iftar bliss in the company.
Nothing brings a sense of community like Ramadan does. As the holy month approached, the company eagerly prepared for its annual Iftar Delight event. This year, we were glad to expand the festivities by hosting iftar gatherings for our staff in Bali, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Bandung.
Spreading the Joy of Ramadan
While Ramadan is a season to reflect and rejuvenate spirituality, it is also a moment to share and reconnect with others. The Iftar Delight allowed all employees to strengthen their bonds in the radiance of Ramadan; a big family brought together beyond deadlines and projects.
The spirit of togetherness came to life as Mitrais extended a warm invitation to the employees’ families so they could share the celebration with loved ones. Mitrais’ invitation was gleefully accepted, and families flooded the venues, making the iftar even merrier. Smiles bloomed as they were introduced to each other while savouring the dishes, filling the air with a warm, encouraging, and caring atmosphere.

Manager’s Remark
Thrilled to see the wave of excitement looming for the event, Argo Negoro, the Yogyakarta Office Manager, shared his remark on the recent iftar gathering.
“It’s fantastic to see so many staff joining in. It’s even merrier because our colleagues from outside Yogyakarta—like those from Malang, Surabaya, Cilacap, and other cities —were also part of the fun. They even brought their families along, which was super amazing. It’s a great chance for us to connect not only with our coworkers but also with their loved ones.”
He also praised the efforts that the designated team put into the event, “Big applause to the Iftar Delight committee—you folks rock! Everything was well-prepared.”
